What does the term multimedia involve?
The very word ‘multimedia’ means more than one medium. Typical multimedia projects include the use of visuals, moving images, audio, written content etc. Multimedia serves as a vehicle to make learning and information engrossing. Multimedia meshes the use of text, graphics, animation, audio (sound/music), and video. Television is a typical multimedia application. Learning through multimedia courses is also very effective since the learning becomes fun and is reinforced by the animation and audio.
