What does the term “Green Globes” mean?
Green Globes is “a Web-based, simple-to-use, self-assessment auditing tool created by the Green Building Initiative (GBI), popular in Canada, the United Kingdom, and the United States,” according to ICSC’s Dictionary of Shopping Center Terms, Third Edition (International Council of Shopping Centers: 2008). Interactive and flexible, it provides market recognition of a building’s environmental attributes through third-party verification.
