The term stands for File Transfer Protocol. This is a method of transferring files across the internet (normally to and from a web server – to update web pages etc). What actually is email? Messages a usually short text messages, however, the email system can also “attach” a file to a message. The file can be of any type, such as an image or sound file or Word document etc. How big an attachment can I send by email?
