What does the term “credit hours” mean?
If a class meets once a week, you would pay for one (1) credit hour. If a class meets three times a week, you would pay for three (3) credit hours. There are variations, but most classes follow this basic formula. The average, and recommended, number of “hours” you would carry each semester is15. In order to be a “full-time student,” the university requires you to enroll for a minimum of 12 hours each semester. If you receive financial aid, check with the Financial Aid office about the requirements for retaining your assistance.
