What does the TELLUS science museum tell us?
The TELLUS northwest Georgia science museum is located about an hour north of Atlanta off I-75 near Cartersville. It is open from 10-5 every day except major holidays. Upon entry, a handy map is provided in exchange for $12 for adult admission, with children and students allowed for $8 each. The planetarium on site may be enjoyed for an additional $3. The Atlanta Creationism Examiner thoroughly enjoyed a recent visit to the museum, with one major regret. A future visit is planned to reverse the order by which the exhibits are viewed because the dinosaur exhibit was so captivating much of the additional material was not absorbed. The strongest attractions of the museum are the molded replicas of dinosaur skeletons, and that is where ACE headed first. Seeing the sheer enormity of the skeletons of these creatures close up, the variety and complexity of life forms that lived so long ago, and contemplating the possible meaning of their existence is simply awe-inspiring.
