What does the take home whitening system consist of?
Take home whitening is achieved by wearing custom-made trays filled with prescription gel for several hours for approximately 10 days. Patients can schedule an appointment for a tray fitting where impressions or molds of the upper and lower teeth are taken. These impressions will then help form the custom trays for the teeth. At the next visit these trays are given to the patient and tested for proper fit. The hygienist will then show the patient how to apply the prescription whitening gel into the trays. These are very thin and almost invisible and can be worn during day or night. The results are long lasting and your smile will be brighter in seven days.
