What does the sub-base construction consist of?
Sub-base materials vary upon local resources in the area the installation takes place. Since we complete installations in six different climate zones, we have more experience in methodology than any other company around. Materials will vary from 1/4″ minus rock, 3/4″ minus rock, dg or decomposed granite and sand. The three main priorities to deciding sub-base material by area consist of cost to our client, consistency of base rock integrity and proper water saturation/drainage through the sub-base.
