What does the SideReel team do about spam?
When we find spam or have spam reported to us, we investigate to confirm that it’s spam. If the content or site is indeed spam, it’s blocked immediately, marked for site-wide removal, and further actions may be taken. If it is not spam, we see if there’s a reason why a link was reported as spam. If the site that was linked to is in violation of our Link Adding Guidelines, then we will warn the user adding the links for that issue. If the bad behavior continues or if they don’t remove the offending issue from their site, the site is blocked, and that user is informed of the ban.
