What does the scheme involve?
Store staff have the opportunity to become ShopWatch Special Constables by attending training courses run by the Metropolitan Police, and once trained will provide a high-profile uniformed presence in high streets, shopping centres and retail parks in London, in some cases in the area in which they usually work, but usually always where your business has a presence The volunteers who are successful are given all the powers of a regular police officer.
