What does the Roman Catholic Church believe?
Although there may be some “born again” Catholics, the question is, has the Roman Catholic Church officially changed any of its historic positions? The answer is no! In fact, Vatican II and every council and edict since confirmed these positions. Exactly what does the Roman Catholic Church believe? Unfortunately, because of the vastness of this subject, I will only highlight a few. All of these points can be fully documented. The following are just a few of the historic and present day positions of the church, which are absolutely opposed to historic Bible, centered Christianity: The Catholic Church teaching and tradition are equal to the Scripture even though traditions are often inconsistent and contradictory.
