What does the review process regarding public submissions entail?
Any member of the public may file a submission in accordance with the established guidelines. If the NAO agrees to accept the submission for review, it has 120 days to review the submission and issue a public report. This period may be extended by 60 additional days at the discretion of the NAO Secretary. The objective of the review is to gather information to assist the NAO to better understand and publicly report on the issues and may include a public hearing.
