What does the Real Property Division of Sarasota County do?
The Real Property Division acquires land and interests in land to accommodate projects in both the Capital and Non-Capital Improvement Programs. Property is acquired in fee simple and easement interests through donation, purchase acquisition, and if necessary, eminent domain. Additionally the Real Property Division processes plat vacations, street vacations and property exchanges. What is Right-of-Way?
