When looking at blank CD’s or DVD’s, you will see either a R or RW following CD and/or DVD. R means you can write to the blank disk only once. RW stands for Rewritable, which means you can burn something over an already burned disk, overwriting the previously burned information, (up to 1,000 times depending on the quality of the disk).
