This typically includes an interview with the family and observation and interaction with the child. 3. AST sends a report to the Regional Center making recommendations for services. 4. AST waits for the approval for funding from the Regional Center. 5. Once the approval for funding is received, AST contacts the parents/guardians to schedule the first in-home session.
