What does the Practical Test include?
Currently, the practical driving test consists of an eyesight test, some ‘show me, tell me’ type vehicle safety questions followed by a drive of approximately 40 minutes during which the examiner will assess your overall standard of driving including set manoeuvres. You are allowed a maximum of 15 driving faults although if you make even one serious or dangerous fault, this will result in failure.
