What Does the Personal Care Aide and Home Health Aide Training Course include?
Our approved training courses include instruction on all of the medical services our care givers are allowed to provide for our patients. This includes instruction on medication reminders, monitoring diet, emergencies, and more. Q: As an aide, what will I be doing for the patient? A: Each patient has different needs, but usually they need help with bathing, dressing, feeding, toileting, preparing light meals and reminding to take medications. Q: Do I need a physical exam that shows I am in good health? A: Yes. We can send you for a physical or you can ask your doctor to send us your recent physical results. Q: Will I need to have a criminal background check? A: Yes. We provide a free criminal background checks for some applicants who are getting ready to work. Q: What hours or days can I work? A: It’s your choice. Tell us when you are available and we find you work for that time period. We have work on a visit, hourly, daily and live-in basis. We have a four hour minimum for any one wo
