What does the parent of a special education student need to do in order to register their child?
Registration procedures for special education students are the same as for other students. Those new to the Michigan City Area Schools report to the school to which they are districted. The Principal will assist you in contacting the Special Education Office for further assistance if necessary. Returning students report to the school they attended last year unless they have been notified otherwise by the Special Education Department.
