What does the Ohio Soybean Council do?
Headquartered in Worthington, Ohio, the Ohio Soybean Council (OSC) is governed by an 18-member volunteer farmer board, which directs the Soybean Promotion and Research Program, most commonly referred to as the soybean checkoff. OSC makes a committed effort to maintain and increase demand for Ohio soybeans by investing farmer contributed funds in the following areas: new uses, transportation, soy biodiesel, production research, animal agriculture and international marketing.
