What does the office visit copayment cover?

0

The office visit copayment covers only the office visit fee. Any other covered services—e.g., blood tests, x-rays, or well-child immunizations—are subject to the deductible and coinsurance. This applies even if all or part of a service—such as drawing blood—occurs in the physician’s office. However, in-network preventive services, as identified in Section IV. (Benefits) item C. (Clinical Preventive Services), performed in conjunction with an in-network preventive visit are not subject to the Deductible. Coinsurance will still apply to these services.
