What does the NSSA Standard actually cover?
The Standard lays out criteria for structural resistance to combined wind and live loads effecting uplift, overturn and sliding, as well as debris penetration and “collapse, layover and rollover” hazards. It covers occupancy, access & egress, accessibility, locking, venting and labeling, as well as details about pressure and penetration testing. The Standard has several maps showing wind zones within the US, and my product is engineered for them all.
