What does the NewsTrust service offer?
In its current form, the NewsTrust service offers both a Web site and news feeds, which are available in email, RSS and widget formats. This high-quality selection of daily news and opinion is constantly updated, fully searchable, with links to featured stories and their sources. Submitted stories are carefully researched and rated for evidence, fairness and sourcing by non-partisan panels of citizen reviewers, content experts, practicing journalists and students. Our collective ratings, reviews and tags are then featured in our news feed, for online distribution by our members and partners. This “beta site” is an early version of the full service and many features are still in development. We appreciate your patience and willingness to participate in this experiment in citizen journalism. As the service develops, we will add new features and gradually open our home to a broader community.
