WHAT DOES THE NATIONAL ENERGY BOARD (NEB) DO?
The National Energy Board authorizes and inspects activities such as seismic surveys, drilling, field development, production and gathering system pipelines under the Canada Oil and Gas Operations Act. Pipelines that cross provincial or territorial borders may be approved by the National Energy Board under the National Energy Board Act.
