What does the Muslim heaven/afterlife look like for men and women?
There is not discrimnation based on gender in Heaven. A verse clearly states both women and men will be rewarded with perfected mates that were created for this purpose.Along with anything they desire: 41:31 “We are your protectors in this life and in the Hereafter: therein shall ye have all that your souls shall desire; therein shall ye have all that ye ask for!- As for the companions named hur al-ayn mention in this verse: 44:54 So; and We shall join them to Companions with beautiful, big, and lustrous eyes. They are special companions created for pleasure in heaven. Although they are described creatures with big and lustrous eyes and ‘whom no man or Jinn before them has touched’ and who are ‘Like unto rubies and coral'”. They aren’t granted more beauty than human female dwellers of paradise. Nor are they exclusive to martyrs.
