The migration of a computer to the H Sci managed IASTATE domain involves many steps. A summary of these steps is as follows: • On your scheduled migration date, a migration technician will arrive at your office. • These technicians have been specially trained to handle the migration process. • The first tool run on the machine is the Software Installation Tool. This tool installs multiple programs on the machine that the user can take advantage of once their computer has been migrated (Kerberos, integrated logon, etc.) • After the first process has successfully completed, the second tool, Migration Dependency Checker, will be run to on the machine to ensure all settings have been properly configured for a successful migration. • Once the Migration Dependency Checker has successfully completed, the technician will run the User Profile Migration Tool, which migrates all specified user profiles to the IASTATE domain. • This tool was specifically designed to backup most user settings (scre
