What does the message “$RAPTOR_HOME undefined” mean (Windows users)?
The majority of users who experience this situation can resolve this by logging out of thier computer’s user account (or rebooting thier system) and then signing back in and loading up RAPTOR. If that does not seem to satisfy your computer, not to worry, here are some easy instructions to follow that will get you up and running in about 1 minute. Go into the Start Menu, right click on My Computer. Select Properties from the dropdown list. When that window appears, select the Advanced tab. Click the Environment Variables button and under System Variables click “New”. Enter the variable name “RAPTOR_HOME”, less quotes. For variable value enter the location of the RAPTOR installation folder, most cases this is “C:/RAPTOR”, less quotes. Click OK to the New System Variable. OK to the Environment Variables.
