The Maternal and Child Health (MCH) service assertively responds to enhance early parenting and provides a comprehensive and individual approach to strengthen family well being in Hume city through a team of health professionals. MCH Services begin with a home visit to the mother and baby after discharge from hospital and continues with MCH centre appointments. The MCH Service offers a ‘Babies in Hume’ support and education program for all families in Hume. This program is run concurrently in various venues across Hume.
