What does the “law say” about gerrymandering?

If you want to know what the “law say” (I assume you mean law says) about gerrymandering, you want facts not opinions. The fact is, there are requirements that have to be met when drawing congressional districts to prevent voters from being disenfranchised. For example you can’t have one district with a whole lot more people than another, you can’t draw districts based on race, etc. As long as you play within those rules, gerrymandering is totally legal and done all the time. As to opinions, I think it’s a load of political BS. It’s another way for those in power to try and stay in power at the expense of the people.
