What does the laser feel like? Does it hurt?

Laser treatment for hair removal is much less painful than electrolysis or other forms of removal such as tweezing or waxing. During the procedure, most describe the sensation as feeling like a rubber-band snap against the skin. Others have very little discomfort with the treatment. It often depends on an individuals pain threshold and the area being treated. Although it is not recommended, we offer a temporary anesthetic cream that can be used 30 minutes before treatment to reduce discomfort.
