What does the Lake Macbride Sailing Club do?
Our club is dedicated to improving its members’ sailing skills through competition. Toward that end, we gather each week (weather permitting) and compete in a series of races. Once a year, we also sponsor an interclub regatta where we invite members from other clubs to join us in a one day series race. During the off-season, we improve our skills through educational meetings designed to teach various aspects of one design sailboat racing. It’s not all work though, we also get together several times a year for social events, just to enjoy the company of others who share our passion for sailing and competition.
