What does the intensity of the red and green squares refer to?
The intensity of the colored squares in the Hottrend display are used to relay information — the more intense the color, the greater the “abnormality” of the activity that is being displayed. For example, in the picture above you have some very dark red squares, which indicate there is a pronounced downward trend in the relevant areas. Lighter, almost-white shades of green and red mean that the movement is less pronounced.
