What does the instructor look for in an autobiographical essay?
Autobiographical essays should demonstrate the ways that the student has integrated personal and professional experiences into her/his life. The should show that s(he) has approached her/his life as a “lifelong learner.” that is, that s(he) has thought critically about the events of her/his life, and used and applied this meaning as her/his life progressed.
