What does the inside of a frog look like?
Note from LauraFrog – Frog dissection is becoming increasingly less popular because it’s often easier to get rats or mice than frogs. Many frogs are also protected. In Australia it’s common to dissect toads, which are pests. Many schools take the students to the computer lab for a ‘dissection’ and use a virtual frog dissecting program such as www.froguts.com – it’s not as good as actually dissecting a frog or toad, but if you want a look it’s worth a go.
