On June 22 the HCPC, upon recommendation of their research staff, turned down Inland Port Systems request by a vote of 7-0. The request was turned down because the proposal is inconsistent with the County’s Future Land Use Element, Coastal Management Element, Transportation Element, and with the Future of Hillsborough’s Comprehensive Plan.
