What does the Green Party have against guns?
Any sensible person or organization should be against the proliferation of hand guns and automatic weapons. The Green Party is all about preserving the environment and making this old earth a nice place to live. Hand guns and AK47s are meant to kill PEOPLE not hunting. We just had a case yesterday where three juveniles tried to lure a pizza delivery driver to an abandoned house to rob him. The police arrested them with a loaded sawed off shotgun. They are fifteen years old! If your house is being robbed the police are a 911 call away. Usually if a home owner pulls out a hand gun while being robbed he is usually the one who gets shot. Police resources are stretched to the limit. And the juvenile courts are just a revolving door. So what do kids have to fear? They can rob and murder at will knowing they can only be held until about the age of 21. Most murders are committed in heat of the moment.
