What does the Grants Committee consider when reviewing grant requests?
Decisions are based on several factors, including: • Whether the request satisfies our Grants Program criteria • Relevance of the event, activity, or program to our business and products • Quality of the event, activity, or program • Budget for grants For example, if the agenda for a two-day program has a limited amount of content that is related to cardiac conditions and treatment for which our products are used, the Grants Committee may decide not to provide a grant or approve less than requested. If, however, almost the entire agenda is related to cardiac conditions and treatments for which our products are used, the Committee may approve a larger grant.
