What Does the Functional Vision Assessment (FVA) and Learning Media Assessment (LMA) Process Mean to My Child?
This presentation will define the tie between Expanded Core Curriculum (ECC) and assessment strategies for supporting effective instruction with the ECC. The presenters will introduce people to new strategies for conducting a functional vision assessment. The presenters will use a combination of key segments and video demonstrations to guide parents through the new AFB ECC Assessment Product. Parents will receive helpful content to build a stronger tie of assessment to instruction through the functional vision assessment. The session is for parents with children of all ages and who are multiply handicapped to ones who are academically inclined.
