What does the fellowship provide to students?
UCPIP offers Fellows a full-time, yearlong, paid fellowship at a Chicago-area organization that serves the public interest. It offers a stipend of $28,000, health coverage, and other benefits offered to employees. We require that the work be substantive and well-supervised. A one-year term permits the Fellow to do major projects. The Fellowships are at organizations that have been screened and are doing important public interest work.
