Depends on whether the system being used is a full scan system, regular MRI or “Open Air MRI”, the latter being a misnomer since the magnet is still enclosing the patient although much less tight than the regular system. It does look much like a CT although the patient platform usually does not routinely move in/out except for full body or segment scans.
