What does the Environmental Research Institute of the Supervising Scientist do?
ERISS does environmental research to detect, quantify and understand any actual and potential environmental impacts of uranium mining in the Alligator Rivers Region. This knowledge can then be used to avoid or minimise environmental impacts of uranium mining. ERISS also does research on wetlands conservation and management.
