Much has been made (and Googled) of Howard Stern sidekick Robin Quivers and her inspiring weight loss. She showed off her slimmed-down self on the red carpet over the weekend for the Comedy Central roast of Joan Rivers. So how did Quivers get into bathing suit form? Apparently, she’s a fan of detox diets, according to the New York Daily News. It’s basically a short-term starvation, in which you don’t eat anything for a few days and often just drink water or some silly concoction of maple syrup, lemon juice, water and cayenne pepper. But I don’t think periodic fasts alone were what knocked off the reported 60-70 pounds. She was on The View last year talking about how she lost the weight, and part of her plan was adopting a vegan diet (no animal products at all). One of her main protein sources is hemp protein, which can be found in items like hemp milk and hemp seeds, available at natural foods stores.
