My class is based upon collaborative & creative problem solving. Class begins with a timed Problem of the Day, which alternates among verbal, mathematical, and visual (spatial reasoning) problems. Students also work in team simulations involving interdisciplinary studies on a variety of themes based upon grade level and core curriculum. The units include Greek mythology, the Renaissance, flight, space probe design and data analysis, American colonization, archaeology, and world cultures and geography.
