EMVCo has compiled and published a set test requirements and test cases for the terminal-to-chip card interface (level 1) and for the payment application (Level 2). Furthermore, EMVCo has accredited laboratories to provide testing services to terminal vendors and application providers. At the conclusion of the approval process EMVCo issues a Letter of Approval and lists approved products on the EMVCo website.
