What does the email Alert status mean?

Active alerts mean that information will automatically be sent to you when vehicles become available that meet your search criteria. Inactive alerts will not be sent. To change an alert status, click on the edit icon and change accordingly. Alerts are delivered either daily, every 3 days, weekly, every 2 weeks, once per month or never. Selecting Never deactivates the alert.
