WHAT DOES THE DIFFERENT COLOR CODING ON THE ADVISORIES MEAN?
The website color coding for Advisories on the website is designed to make it easier for visitors to identify different types of events on the roadway. The color coding used is as follows: Incident Any vehicular collision on or near the roadway that may affect traffic. Closure Any roadway closure or lane that may require vehicles to be re-routed. Warning Events whereby travellers should use caution. This may include, but not limited to, weather and road surface conditions, obstructions on the roadway and low visibility. Delays Traffic delays as a result of congestion. Roadwork Any road or bridge construction project. Alert Other events along or near the roadway that may impact traffic.
