What does the Cubmaster do?
The Cubmaster p lans and conducts the Pack meeting, and decides on the theme of the meeting. He or she conducts ceremonies, and serves as a person who can rally round the parents AND Scouts to participate. The Cubmaster wants to make every meeting and event exciting, different and fun FOR THE BOYS…and PARENTS. The Cubmaster also oversees registering new scouts at School Night for Scouting, sees that the pack program, leaders, and Cub Scouts positively reflect the interests and objectives of the chartered organization and the BSA. They work with the pack committee on (1) program ideas, (2) selecting and recruiting adult leaders, and (3) establishing a budget plan. They guide and support den leaders, seeing that they receive the required training for their positions.
