What does the “Created by”/”Modified by” option refer to?
• “Created By” and “Modified By” are the inner user fields of an item (list). They represent users related to the item and can be assigned column permissions. You can add other user fields to the list so that you can assign column permissions to users who are represented by these user fields. All other products in the “SharePoint Permissions Boost” provide same functionality to make it more flexible.
