Cost Centers are used to capture the appropriate funding information for Agency Codes and Reporting Units. The Cost Center can be up to 10 characters and is configured as in the following example: 9850 051 221 – the 1st-4th digits are the Uniform Code Manual (UCM) which is assigned by the Department of Finance; the 5th-7th digits are the agency code; the 8th-10th digits are the reporting unit.
