What does the code date mean and/or represent?
The 6-digit open code date represents a “best if sold by” date and the date that Kenny’s Candy Company recommends the distributors and/or retailers pull our items off their shelves. The code date represents a day 8 months after the day the product is produced. Example, product produced on January 15, 2007 would have a code date printed on it of 091507.
