No! The Clerk’s office has increased total staffing by over a hundred in the last several years and most of the new hires are efficient and effective at their jobs, as are the long-time employees. No one who is doing their job and providing appropriate public service need be concerned in the least about their job. The reason the Clerk has not met performance standards is poor management and allocation of resources, not poor performance of employees. If a ship is steered onto the rocks, the captain is to blame, not the sailors.
