What does the “Clear Buffer” button do on the “Capture” page?

The “Clear Button” empties the buffer. Once the buffer is emptied, past video information that was held in it is no longer available to be saved. The buffer begins to refill 5 seconds after the “Clear Buffer” button has been pressed.
